Highlands/ Jeff Park/ Lohi
Northwest Denver, bounded by I-25 to the east and 6th Street to the south, offers a wide array of housing, including condos, single-family homes, townhouses, cottages, and the Victorian mansions of the Stonemen’s Row Historic District. The area is also near to Denver’s Sports Authority at Mile High Stadium as well as the West 28th Avenue Historic District & Jefferson Park.
LoHi (Lower Highlands) is the community just northwest of downtown Denver and is one of Denver’s hottest neighborhoods for young professionals with its mix of historic buildings and modern construction and proximity to downtown, Riverfront, and Union Station. The highland Bridge connects this neighborhood to Downtown Denver. Forbes Magazine ranked LoHi #17 of “America’s Best Hipster Neighborhoods”.
Jefferson Park is a neighborhood and public park that overlooks Downtown Denver and is home to Jefferson Park, Elitch Gardens, The Children’s Museum, Denver’s Downtown Aquarium, Pepsi Center and the REI flagship store in Downtown’s Central Platte Valley. The homes in Jefferson Park are diverse in architecture from various eras and the Growth has been faster than any other neighborhood in northwest Denver and is quickly becoming one of Denver’s coolest neighborhoods.
Sloans Lake features one of Denver’s most beautiful lakes and is located on the western edge of Denver’s city limits, adjacent to the suburbs of Lakewood, Edgewater and Wheat Ridge. Sloans Lake hosts a three-mile bike-and-pedestrian path around the lake as well as fishing, boating and the annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival. The Sloan’s Lake community includes a variety of home styles & prices with an added bonus of quiet neighborhood streets. Shopping and restaurants are close by in the popular Berkeley & Highlands neighborhood.
